May,10,2023 The Asakusa shrine festival, Sanja Matsuri will be held May 19 (Fri.)-21 (Sun.), 2023.

On the first day of the festival, traditional local culture such as Asakusa Geisha will be performed.

On the second day, about 100 portable shrines will be carried out in a “Rengo-Togyo” procession

On the final day, three main mikoshi shrines are carried out of the Asakusa shrine, followed by the “miya-dashi,” a procession of the 44 town councils that make up the Ujiko community.
